quick rita update

Sooo. It looks like we might just be able to go. Maybe. I think. God, I hope. I want my tortoise and my mates of state and my rilo kiley and .... but I'm not gonna get crazy and excited quite yet... just quietly and robotically do my laundry and pack a duffel bag with the basics. I need to do that stuff but I plan to take a nice, long, compensatory (word?) 6-hour nap, and podcast afterward, because I hope and think my brain won't be quite as dysfunctional after i give it a chance to recoup!

did i mention bruce robison? god damn. I better not look at the names. only the fiery furnaces and the arcade fire and tegan and sara and bloc party and the dirty dozen brass band and widespread panic and buddy guy and death cab for cutie. only them. and the other people I hadn't really heard of but wanted to see anyway like kasabian and mofro and the walkmen and the frames and built to spill and aqualung and the asylum street spankers. gosh. and wilco. burhhh. I just had to remind myself of everything I'm missing. that's all.
