preparing for district

Stupidest post ever, my god. It needs editing.

I want to put a little blog entry out right now because I need to stay off the computer this week. I have district auditions for all-state choir on Saturday, which means I need to start getting consistent, adequate rest... as opposed to the... 5 hours I usually get. I need to be more organized with my time.

I'm in the most overwhelming electronica mood of my life. I've been listening to indiefeed's electronica podcast and there are these fricken laptop battles and I'm in love. go see for yourself or something. Hopefully I will overcome the urge to play with ACID this week while I keep the internet card thing out of my computer... for the most part.

I haven't been updating my livejournal for the past couple of months, but I have a feeling I will be doing so ferociously this week since I am not going to let myself podcast for sure, until Saturday night when I get home from auditions.

In the meantime, I'll just be looking for 5/6ish awesome tracks. And I have a ton of shit to say. Hopefully I said something of consequence last time, even though I was all hyped up on coffee. ERRRGH I have to go do homework.

note to self: know shit about the bands and talk about their interestingness, and identify specifically cool things about music more often.
